Talk to the person who walks the farm

Selling, buying or just working out what your land is worth. You get Martiens directly, not a call centre.

What can we do for you

Pick the reason and give us the province and rough extent. That is usually enough for a useful first reply.

Your details go to Martiens only, as our privacy policy says.

We reply from martiens@erfdevco.com, usually within one working day.

What we will ask you anyway

Include these and the first reply can be a real answer instead of a list of questions.

Extent and title

Total hectares, how many portions or title deeds, and whether the property is registered in a personal name, a trust or a company.

Water

Boreholes and their yields, dams, river frontage, and whether there is a registered water use licence, a general authorisation or an application still pending.

What it currently produces

Crops or livestock, hectares under production, and the last few seasons of yield or carrying capacity if you have them.

Zoning and VAT

Current zoning, any servitudes registered against the title, and whether the seller is a VAT vendor. This changes the price a buyer actually pays.
